E' su queste note che mercoledì 5 dicembre si è aperto il "Monster Ball Tour", il concerto di Lady Gaga, finalmente giunto anche qui in Italia. Spettacolari i balletti e le scenografie, ma in particolar modo lei e i suoi stre-pi-to-si vestiti.

Tra il pubblico c'era anche il re della moda Giorgio Armani, al quale Lady Gaga ha rivolto un ringraziamento speciale per averle disegnato la maggior parte dei vestiti utilizzati in scena.

Dopo l'abito di carne, non sarà facile per Lady Gaga sorprenderci di nuovo quindi attendiamo impazienti la sua prossima creazione.

Questo è il ritornello della canzone che ci ha fatto ballare tutta l'estate, e, diciamo la verità, ci siamo un pò tutte sentite delle vere california gurls! ;) Per farci entrare ancora di più in questo ruolo, Katy Perry ha accettato la collaborazione con la famosa linea di smalti OPI, creando cinque boccette a dir poco originali. 

This is the refrain of the song that made us dance all summer long, and, let's face it, we all feel a little of the real california gurls! ;) To make us go even further in this role, Katy Perry has accepted the collaboration with the famous line of OPI nail polish, creating five bottles so original.

I colori, il cui nome è stato scelto personalmente da Katy Perry ispirandosi a cinque delle sue canzoni presenti nell'album "Teenage Dream", sono:

• Last Friday Night: blu aggressivo schiarito da glitter viola e argento.
• Not Like The Movies: un miscuglio tra kaki e argento, perfetto in queste giornate piovose.
• The One That Got Away: magenta aggressivo, da vera Teenager!
• Teenage Dream: rosa chiaro abbellito da glitter rosa, oro e argento.
• Black Shatter: uno smalto completamente innovativo, da applicare una volta asciugato il precedente smalto, per un effetto leopardato very rock!

Purtroppo gli smalti usciranno in Italia soltanto a gennaio 2011, acquistabili sul sito http://www.opishop.net, insieme a tutte le altre collezioni OPI. Il prezzo per ora è di 9$.

• Not Like The Movies: a mixture of khaki and silver, perfect in these rainy days.
• The One That Got Away: magenta aggressive, like a real teenager!
• Teenage Dream: light pink decorated with pink glitter, gold and silver.
• Black Shatter: a completely new polish to be applied once the previous dry nail polish, for an effect very leopard rock!

Unfortunately, the nail polish will be released in Italy only in January 2011, on http://www.opishop.net site, along with all other OPI collections. The price is $ 9 now.

Invece, sempre parlando di smalti, sono finalmente riuscita ad entrare in possesso del mitico e tanto atteso smalto Chanel Les Khakis Vernis in edizione limitata, praticamente introvabile. Ovviamente trovato su ebay, poichè la linea Chanel è stata tolta dalle profumerie Douglas e nei negozi monomarca Chanel non li vendono. Prezzo: 90€.

Instead, always talking about nail polish, I finally managed to get hold of the legendary and long-awaited Chanel Les Vernis Khakis nail polish in limited edition, almost impossible to find. Naturally found on ebay, because the line has been removed from Chanel perfume stores Douglas and Chanel doesn't sell them. Price: 90 €.

Oh my shoes! - Finsk Shoes -

Queste meraviglie si chiamano Finsk e la loro ideatrice è la

designer anglo finlandese Julia Lundsten, laureata nel 2003 al Royal College of Art di Londra.

Sono delle scarpe-scultura, futuristiche e all'avanguardia, da lei definite "mini architetture per i piedi" ed io le adoro letteralmente! Hanno conquistato anche l'inarrivabile Manolo Blahnik e molti fashion blogger tra cui Bryanboy (http://www.bryanboy.com/), Chiara Ferragni (http://www.theblondesalad.com/) e Andy (http://www.stylescrapbook.com/). Purtroppo non sono ancora riuscita a possederne un paio, ma diciamo che ci sono dei lavori in corso :D

These wonderful shoes are called Finsk and their creator is theanglo finnish designer Julia Lundsten, graduated in 2003 at the Royal College of Art in London.These shoes are sculptures, futuristic and avant-garde, which she calls "mini architecture for your feet" and I love them literally! They also won the incomparable Manolo Blahnik and many fashion bloggers including Bryanboy (http://www.bryanboy.com/), Chiara Ferragni (http://www.theblondesalad.com/) and Andy (http://www . stylescrapbook.com /). Unfortunately I am not yet able to own a pair, but I can say that there are works in progress :D
