A loro è impossibile resistere. Ne ho appena comprato un paio H&M in pelle nera con zip, rigorosamente zeppa 12cm (29,95€ le potete trovare qui) . La scarpa che si dimostra la più amata dagli stilisti nella stagione primavera - estate 2011 è di sicuro la zeppa.
Considerata spesso volgare nei decenni passati, la zeppa ha piano piano assunto diverse forme e modelli che l'hanno resa un piacere da indossare e da vedere; non è un mistero il mio debole per questo genere di scarpa! Rispetto ai tacchi, prediligo la zeppa in quanto mi da più stabilità, e cerco sempre di comprarne modelli con cui mi sento adeguata sia di giorno che di sera.
New York, Parigi, Milano: in ogni parte del mondo le zeppe hanno catturato gli occhi di tutti sulle passerelle. I modelli che preferisco sono di sicuro quelli in paglia/corda, sbarazzine e romantiche (vedi sfilata D&G); molto ricercate e particolari anche quelle dorate di Yves Saint Laurent, o quelle in pelle con la zeppa intrecciata di Hermes. Più eccentriche invece quelle disegnate da Sarah Burton per Alexander McQueen, una vera e propria opera d'arte, d'altronde come il resto delle creazioni McQueen; seguite dalla zeppa in plexiglass trasparente di Moschino.
Per quanto riguarda l'inverno, sono pochi i brand che hanno proposto stivali con la zeppa, e di questo mi è dispiaciuto molto. Tra le eccezioni però ci sono H&M, Zara, Topshop, Asos e River Island.
